Suicide remains a pressing global health problem, accounting for more than 800,000 deaths worldwide each year (World Health Organization, 2019).
Authors suggest addressing factors at the individual (e.g., resilience), interpersonal (e.g., harassment and victimization), and structural (e.g., hate crime laws) levels via individual therapy, connection to gender minority resources, community involvement, and affirming community and structural environments.
